Game Jam Day 3/7 Retrospective - Add Features
Clockwork Dreams » Devlog
Let there be light (and sound)
It was time to add more features and feeling to the game. One of our key goals was not yet met - create an MVP. There was more to do and less time than originally anticipated.
We had our sounds and music ready to integrate and it just felt right. The process itself always was a back and forth between "how does it look like" and "how does it sound like" - obviously, as those things must match in the end.
First gameplay questions appeared like "how to tell the player what to do?" , "how to play" and more. We wanted to keep the text flow and the UI elements at a minimum (basically at 0 if possible) to have a clean screen and allow full immersion into the games world.
